MechE Students Win at Georgia Environmental Conference

A team of students from the Georgia Southern Renewable Energy & Engines Lab presented their research on emissions reduction at the 2015 Georgia Environmental Conference.  The Conference was held August 26-28 on Jekyll Island.  The team, mentored by Dr. Valentin Soloiu (Professor and Allen E. Paulson Chair of Renewable Energy), was awarded First Prize and a check for $1,000.  Team members are (L to R): Kevin Steverson, Jose Moncada, Scott Dyke, Aliyah Knowles, Remi Gaubert and Dr. Soloiu.GA Environmental Conf 2015
