MSAE / EE Student Wins NSF Student Travel Grant

Tanjil Amin, MSAE student with a concentration in Electrical & Electronic Systems, and member of the  CWiNs Research Lab, has been awarded a prestigious NSF student travel grant to present his research at the 2015 IEEE Global Communications  Conference in San Diego.  This travel grant is highly competitive and awarded to only a limited number of students based on the paper quality. Mr. Amin co-authored the work with his thesis advisor, Dr. Danda B. Rawat, assistant professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering. IEEE GLOBECOM is one of two flagship conferences of the IEEE Communications Society.
