GS Electrical Engineering Graduate Student Receives Prestigious IEEE Travel Award

Robin Grodi, Electrical Engineering graduate student at Georgia Southern University and member of the CWiNs Research Lab  has been awarded a travel grant to attend the 2015 IEEE Global Conference on Signal and Information Processing (IEEE GlobalSIP’15) in Orlando, Florida, December 14-16, 2015.robin_working
The IEEE GlobalSIP is a flagship conference of the IEEE Signal Processing Society. This travel grant is highly competitive and awarded to only a limited number of students based on paper quality. Robin will travel to present his research paper, UAV-assisted Broadband Network for Emergency and Public Safety Communications​ co-authored with his thesis adviser, Dr. Danda B. Rawat.
