MSAE Student Contributes to Successful NSF Grant

MartinMuinosMartin Muinos, a Masters student in Dr. Soloiu’s Engine Combustion Laboratory, contributed to a successful NSF grant.  Martin is continuing his undergraduate research on Low Temperature Combustion (LTC) by Reactivity Controlled Compression Ignition (RCCI). He graduated with a 3.7 GPA, published three peer-reviewed conference papers, and one journal paper. During Martin’s tenure in Dr. Soloius laboratory the laboratory has received both an EPA award (in 2013) as well as an NSF Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) award. Upon completion of his MSAE degree Martin plans on pursing a PhD in Automotive Engineering.
