An update from Nick Plotts (2011) now at HP!
I wanted to update you on my recent career change. A few months ago, I had been looking for employment in Savannah, unsuccessfully. However, through making it known that I was in the job market, I was able to hear about a large scale hiring effort by HP in Alpharetta. For the last month I have been in training for a role in enterprise customer support. In this role, I will be supporting customers like EBay, Intel, and many other Fortune 500 companies. In addition, I will likely be pursuing my VCP in the next few months as the team has only a select few members who currently hold this certification.
Also, I am not sure how much longer the hiring will go on, but I know there are an estimated 6 more positions on this team, and I’m certain there are others as HP consolidates its English call support here in Alpharetta. The website to apply is http://www.hp.com/go/jobs.
