Georgia Tech Research Institute Summer IT Co-Op – Atlanta

As a Co-op in the Advanced Concepts Laboratory’s Information Technology lab, the student would work within a self-directed team that is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the entire information technology infrastructure for ACL using cutting-edge technologies. One major component includes computational machines and five large Beowulf clusters (high performance computing / parallel processing technology). A deeper knowledge of Information Technology subjects, including areas such as Information Security methodologies, will be matured throughout the student’s co-op career. Students will also both learn and develop novel methods for network management and design. A highly energetic personality and a willingness to learn is a must for this position. While strong computer skills in both Linux and Windows are a major plus, prior IT experience is not required for this position.
