ContactAtOnce! – Systems Support Engineer Technical Operations- Alpharetta

The Systems Support Engineer is responsible for maintenance and administration of Microsoft Windows/Linux servers at ContactAtOnce! We have a dynamic environment powered by Windows and Linux systems in multiple datacenters.

If you have experience keeping Microsoft SQL based systems monitored and running we want to talk to you! Other duties will include SQL Server database support, and End User support.

Job Responsibilities
● Maintaining all system event, impact and corrective action documentation and process
● Troubleshooting, diagnosing and recreating irregular system operations
● Management and maintenance of all technical equipment in office and collocation hosting
facility including IM, SQL and applications servers, laptops and desktops, telephones and firewalls
● Technical and Customer Operations tool development
● Maintaining and testing backup and recovery procedures
● Tier 1 customer support in high volume situations
● Being the first responder to system outages
● Ensuring Service Level Agreement compliance. Maintenance and outage notifications.
● Maintain and test security procedures
● Analyze application and web logs for abnormal situations and summarize for
Required Experience and Knowledge
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other relevant degree
● 3+ years of work experience in a commercial IT setting
● SQL Server, Linux and Windows Server technical support experience
● Microsoft TSQL scripting knowledge preferred
● Linux Shell/Windows PowerShell scripting knowledge
● ASP.Net or VB.Net or ASP understanding
● HTML development/ JavaScript understanding preferred
● Knowledge of firewall rules and concepts
● Basic TCP/IP Networking knowledge
● Basic server virtualization experience desired, Amazon EC2 preferred
● Ability to selforganize
and meet deadlines
● Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
● The capacity to grow and take on additional knowledge and responsibility as the company continues its rate of fastpaced growth
● Must have eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
