The internship opportunity is designed to provide an opportunity for a student to apply classroom knowledge in an IT environment while delivering tangible value to the organization. Web Development Opportunity

A professor in the department of writing and linguistics needs a student specializing in web design to help develop a web site that works as a companion site to a book she is writing. A preliminary site is up at http://www.loriamy.com. Work will include: working with professor’s content to create a design and layout; analyzing and choosing the best web hosting possibilities; implementing a content management system, updating content; analyzing site intent and user needs to choose and add widgets; conducting first-run usability study (informal).
