Sahana Sen received her BS degree with Economics Honors from the University of Calcutta in 1998 and then earned her Master of Technology degree in Information Technology from Georgia Southern University in 2005. During this time, Sahana was employed as a programmer in India and UK and gained experience in Web development and Geographic Information Systems. In 2008, she was certified as a Base Programmer for SAS9 by SAS. Then she went on to earn her MBA degree with concentration in Internal Audit from Louisiana State University in 2010. As a graduate assistant, her responsibilities included database maintenance and Web design for the Business School at LSU. Sahana received the Ourso Emily Endowed Scholarship for academics as a student of the MBA program.

After working in a leading accounting firm as an IT auditor, Sahana joined Georgia Southern University in 2011 as an Instructor of Information Technology. She currently teaches technologies related to Web page development.
