STEM Career Fair on 2/12/14

There will be a STEM Career Fair on February 12 from 11am – 2 pm in the Nessmith-Lane Ballroom. So far 16 companies have registered to be at the career fair with 15 of those companies looking for CEIT graduates, co-ops, and interns in all disciplines. It is expected that over 40 companies will be at the career fair.  In addition, there will be a co-op/internship event on Tuesday, 2/11, in the evening for students.  Employers will be holding information sessions on Monday and Tuesday in the evening and on campus interviews will be held on Thursday, 2/13. So there are a lot of events for CEIT students.
In the Fall of 2013, a CEIT faculty member had an entire class dress appropriately and go to the Career Fair.  This made a huge positive impact on the employers for that discipline.  Students are strongly encouraged to dress appropriately and go to the Career Fair.
This Spring STEM Career Fair will be the largest at GSU and a great opportunity for all CEIT students to look for permanent positions, co-ops, and internships.  The flyers for the event will be out in the next week or two.
Please contact Dr. John R. O’Malley Jr., Director of Co-op and Transfer Programs of CEIT if you have any questions.
